I have a Time Warner cable modem at home. I noticed that my bill was getting a little high so I gave them a call a few weeks ago. I was surprised that they now have two speed options for their cable modem service. The cheap one is $24.99 a month and the faster option is $44.99 per month. I had them change me to the cheaper and slower option and it works great for me. I do many uploads (pictures, zip files, several megs each) and do not notice a difference in my service. The service is stable too. I don't have outages or other problems with Time Warner!
