question about mail.[ relate to spam]

Hi guys, how are you guys doing?

recently my friends told me that they received email from me but whenever they open it, there are no messages and only links to websites.. etc

of course i did not do it. so can anyone tell me what they are and how to deal with them?

Hello,

It sounds like your email account has been compromised, or a friend with a similar address book has a computer/account that has been compromised. Change your password and security questions and answers. If the emails don't stop you can post the full headers from a couple of them and we'll be able to help you track down the source and file an abuse complaint with the senders ISP.
