You are receiving that error probably because the certificate was self signed by the company providing the email service.
To fix the error, the email service provider should use a real certificate purchased from a CA. Open a ticket with the email service provider and ask for the issue to be fixed.
This is the equivalent of seeing a self signed https web site with the red line through it that requires you accept to proceed vs. a green https in your web browser that just works.
