[CENTOS/POSTFIX]
I have a multi-instance Postfix configuration that is currently routing based off certain LDAP filters to a Microsoft Active Directory environment.
However, I wanted to populate virtual alias tables (mail, target) via some automated schedule (mail, target) - Unless i should just stick with LDAP directory results (thoughts with this solution?)
I have zero experience with this type of setup and would appreciate any guidance / pre configured scripts (perl) help with this activity.
My thoughts:
1. Script logic should pull data from Active Directory based and populate a file, any existing file rename to .old.date
2. Schedule to run every morning 6AM ? (how!)
2. Second script to push this file into a virtual alias table / or combine all into 1 script.
Thank you and apologise in advance if this has been discussed elsewhere!
