Please follow these troubleshooting steps:
- Increase your mail server timeouts
- Temporarily disable virus scanning to determine if it's interfering
- Also virus scanning related, make sure you scan Outlook files not the actual IMAP traffic
- Verify that you have the latest service pack installed
- Login as an admin and run SCANPST.EXE (located in $USERNAME/AppData/Local/Microsoft/Outlook/)
- Check your Accepted Domain configuration (MORE INFO)
