Thank you for your response. The site that you sent is the one that I tried and could not find a match that applied to my computer.
Do not know what else to do, and now they do not like my incoming email address???
Thanks anyway.

Can you post the error message you are seeing?

Is it possible that your account was suspended for abuse?

Maybe you were phished and your account was used for sending spam?

For sending email try smtp.sbcglobal.net but use port 587 instead of port 25.

> telnet smtp.sbcglobal.net 587
Trying 204.127.220.17...
Connected to smtp.sbcglobal.net.
Escape character is '^]'.
220 isp.att.net - Maillennium ESMTP/MULTIBOX frfwmhc03 #11

Did that work for you?

In your settings check the box for saying the smtp server requires authentication and use your pop username and password for the values. Are you able to send email with that server setting now?

It started up again.
It does not like the pop email.
I used sbcglobal.net and sbcglobal.yahoo.net
Neither one was acceptable.
Don't know anything else to try.

Remove the leading dot in front of pop ie: "pop." not ".pop."

You might need to use your full email address as the username too if removing the leading dot is not the only fix.
