Outlook 2002 Yahoo Mail Login Problems

I added an e-mail account to my Outlook 2002 today for my Yahoo Mail. All of the server and login information I used is correct. Outlook can find the incoming (POP) and outgoing (SMTP) servers, but it will not accept my login information (User ID and Yahoo Password). I have tested this in the Yahoo web-mail, and the ID and Password are correct. I have tried multiple times to type in the login information and get into Outlook, but Icannot. If anyone has had a similar problem, please let me know your thoughts on this. Thank you. Deb

Hi Deb,

Yahoo does not allow POP access for free email accounts.

To get pop3 access you need to upgrade to Yahoo Mail Plus:
