Does your email provider give SSL protocol?
Is your email provider secure about "OpenSSL Heartbeat Vulnerability"?
Did you get any email from your provider about this?

I use Google Gmail.

They did not send out email notifications (they do have a blog), but they were one of the first to know and fix the problem on their end.

Actually I don't think I received email notification from any email services, mostly they were from security web sites & mailing lists.
