Mobile facebook message vs email

I caught myself saying I like facebook messages over my gmail from my iPhone. I still prefer not to use texts unless I want a fairly quick response, but all of a sudden I'm starting to use facebook messages instead of my gmail when I don't care if it takes a day or two to get the reply. No this not an email is dead thread, I still prefer to receive email instead of texts and facebook messages.

I prefer to have everything via email too. Texts are only for short questions/convos, IMHO. I really like that fact that Facebook now allows you to reply directly to the email instead of forcing you to login in order to reply.
