In trying to send e-mail to only some people, they never receive it but I receive it in my incoming e-mails. Not all e-mails are affected.

Make sure you are listed in their address book as a safe contact to receive emails from for starters.

Does the email bounce back? Check your spam / junk mail folder for mailer-daemon messages related to the emails that are not being received by your contacts.
