Lost email in Hotmail

I've just started using Hotmail and I have lost an email. I wanted to forward the email on but didn't want the recipient to read the email chain below, so I highlighted the text and pressed 'delete'.

I'm more used to using btinternet and google than hotmail. Anyway the email disappeared from my inbox to the 'deleted' box, I stupidly did the same again and now the email has disappeared completely. I can not even find it by doing an advanced search. How can that happen, I only deleted the highlighted text not the whole email.

I really need that email, I've got someone waiting for the attachments it contained but I don't wan them reading the previous conversations between the send any myself. Can anyone help please?

Hi Angela,

If you deleted the email from your trash it can not be recovered.

Did you try asking the original sender to resend you the email?

To prevent this from happening again you have the option to turn off keyboard shortcuts:
