I read that it was 100 mail a day limit, however ive sent exactly 38 within 2 hours, and now even onto the 2nd day, i keep getting the "reached daily limit" notification when i try to send any more?

any help appreciated.
the 38 mails was to let my contact list know my new email address

The current terms of service state a limit of 100 emails per hour (not per day)

7.3 The customer is prohibited to send more than 100 emails per hour per account or to send so-called paid emails or emails that advertise a referral system.

How many recipients are on each of your emails?

Maybe they are counting the total recipients (emails x recipients) and not the number of emails.

I'll test from my account and see which way they seem to be counting.

Can you take a screen shot of the error message and attach it in a reply for @Tutanota to see?

Don't worry about the screen shot, I was able to quickly reproduce your issue.

I went over the limit and could not send 2 emails.

Tutanota is counting the recipients, not the emails.

If you send 4 emails each with 25 recipients, that appears to count as 100, not 4.

Did you send any email? Are you getting the same message about going over the limit? Try waiting for 24hrs. Is the problem fixed?
