I can connect to the Yahoo Mail POP3 server OK right now.

Did you recently make any changes to your computer?

Double check that your anti virus, firewall, and other security programs are not blocking your connect to the Yahoo mail servers.

Are you using the new Yahoo Mail POP3 settings (port 995 + SSL)?

It is not unusual for Yahoo to have service problems that impact a small percentage of users.
