How to troubleshoot sending and receiving problems with IncrediMail

Hello,

If you are having a problem sending or receiving e-mail the first thing we need to do is enable logging so that we can create a record of any errors that are occurring. To enable logging in IncrediMail please follow these steps:


  • Open IncrediMail
  • Go to the Tools menu and select Options

  • Select the Advanced tab and check the box for Generate a log file when sending or receiving mail

  • Click OK to close that window.
  • Click the button to check for new e-mail.
  • Go back to the Advanced tab and click the Logs button.

  • Double click open the log file for the account that you are having a problem with.
If you are not sure what a message in the error log means please reply to this thread and copy/paste the entire error log so we have you fix the problem.
