To make Outlook Express your default email program please follow these steps :
- Close outlook express if it's already running.
- Go to the Start button and select Run
- Type "msimn /reg" in the run box and then press OK
- Wait for 60 seconds while Windows makes some changes in the background (you won't see anything on the screen)
- Start outlook express
- Go to the Tools menu and select Options
- Click the General tab
- In the Default Messaging Programs section neat click Make Default button
- Click Apply and then click OK
