Do you check your e-mail from more than one e-mail program, location, or prefer to also use a webmail client to access your e-mail messages? To do this you will often need to configure your e-mail programs to leave a copy of messages on the server. The following are the directions for configuring outlook express to leave a copy of messages on the server:

- Open outlook express
- Select Accounts from the Tools menu
- Highlight the account your want to edit and push the Properties button
- Select the Advanced tab
- Under Delivery check Leave a copy of messages on the server
- Click Apply, and then OK
