I fixed two problems at once today with a nifty little fixup program built into windows called fixmapi.exe
The problem that I was trying to solve was with Microsoft Communicator reporting that there were integration issues between it and Microsoft Outlook 2007.
I closed all my programs and then did a Start -> Run -> fixmapi.exe
Don't expect anything to appear on your screen. It does all it's work in the background and quickly finishes.
Fixmapi.exe also fixed a problem I had with Adobe Reader X not loading correctly on my computer.
