A MSN Hotmail Plus account is required to check your MSN Hotmail account with Microsoft Outlook on your computer.
Sorry, but although you used to be able check a free hotmail account with a mail client on your computer MSN Hotmail disabled this feature.
Once you have a Hotmail Plus account you can install Microsoft Outlook Connector to access your MSN Hotmail Plus account from Microsoft Outlook 2003 or newer.
