OK, today I received a coupon from Friday's for fathers day that is only good for the next 3 days. That's irritating. Maybe I have (and do) have plans other than going to Fridays for a meal this weekend. If you are going to send a coupon please make it useful at least for a couple weeks or more so your customers have a chance to use them. I also recently received a lot of birthday coupons in my email that were only good for a short period of time. The only one I had a chance to use was a free dessert from Quaker Steak & Lube. By sending coupons with a near term expiration date businesses are hurting not helping their reputations and probably not making many of their customers feel special.
