how do you get emails to automatically move to folders?

To have email automatically moved to folders based on criteria when it's received, click on Rules and then select Create Rule:

Use the Rules Wizard to set the criteria and pick the folders where the email should be delivered.

There will likely be some blue links that you need to click and specify the details for some of the conditions.
