How do i remove automatic response from my aol mail?

• Login to AOL mail at http://mail.aol.com
• Click on the Settings link
• Click on Compose in the left side of your screen
• Uncheck the check box Automatically add email addresses to Contacts
• Click the Save button.

Check your Spam Settings. Do not add contacts to your address book unless you trust the sender. Click Settings -> Spam Settings -> Content Filter and make sure you have Block mail containing pictures or files set correctly.
