Hi Neve,
The computer guy is correct. If your Thunderbird is using POP3 settings you should switch to IMAP.
The difference is with POP3, if you don't leave email on the server, then only the first device to check your email will be able to see it.
Make sure Thunderbird is using the
Godaddy IMAP settings, then add your account in the iphone mail app as an IMAP account.
To do this on your iPhone go to Settings then:
- Scroll down to and tap "Mail, Contacts, Calendars"
- Tap "Add Account"
- Scroll to the bottom of the list and tap "Other"
- Tap "Add Mail Account"
- Type in your Name, Email and Password, then tap next
- On the New Account screen:
- Verify IMAP is selected.
- The Incoming Mail Server hostname is imap.secureserver.net (port 993, SSL required)
- Your username is your complete email address
- The Outgoing Mail Server hostname is smtpout.secureserver.net (port 465, SSL required, authentication required)
