I'm stumped. I was asked today if there is a way to have Gmail automatically empty the trash folder daily or at least faster than every 30 days days. Manually clicking the empty trash now link is not a solution and neither is leaving a mail program open outside of Gmail and having it download and delete the emails. I checked the lists of scripts at Scripts Tagged gmail and did not find a solution there either. Any suggestions?
