Hotmail hacked

My hotmail account was blocked Microsoft told me it was an automatic security feature when I travelled more than 300 miles from my normal vicinity. Despite several attempts to unlock they told me I had to open a new account. I have now found that the reason my information was invalid was my account had been hacked. I have a new account but need urgent emails from my old email address. To say this is a matter of life or death is not exaggerating. Is there a way to get my emails as I have no way to advise the senders if my predicament

I've never heard of Microsoft telling someone to make a new account. If anything, usually it gets to a point where they ask for senders and subject lines from before the account was hacked.

I provided all this information probably 4 separate times and never received an answer and after several more attempts received email from them that it would be better to create a new account

Can you provide a screen shot of the email received from them that says that and attach it to a reply? It would be interesting to see what reasons they provided and if their process has changed.
