hide my name please

I have a hotmail account connected to an MSN account and have followed the link on this forum suggestiong I should have a "common threads" link - it's not there
I do not want my name on my outgoing e mails
I have no idea how to stop it
My MSN account is set up supposedly to only send my last name to three people - hotmail sends it to everyone and because of the link with MSN and hotmail I cannot completely remove my last name

Please hotmail - don't send out my name -if I wanted to do that I would have an account with my name on it

HOW can I do this please?
