HELP - Received 100 plus Yahoo account confirmations which I did not set up

Are these phishing? are these a spammer? Why is someone using my email as a backup email when setting up these accounts and HOW CAN I STOP THIS?

Below is exactly what the email states (one example as I received over 60 and all with different account/email names):
