Hi does anyone know if a gmx email header reveals your IP address. Have sent an anonymous email and worried I could be traced as I also use my work laptop from the same home server which when I log on from home probably reveals my IP address when connecting so they could see IP matches, hope this makes sense and thanks for your time.

I signed up at GMX and sent my self an email. Yes, my home IP address was the first (bottom) received line in the headers:

    Received: from [x.x.x.x] ([x.x.x.x]) by 3c-app-mailcom-bs14.server.lan (via HTTP); Wed, 27 Dec 2017 15:12:09 +0100

You are not anonymous when sending email from a GMX email account.
