GMail annoying pop-up!

How can I stop this annoying pop-up message from appearing every time I open my GMail account?: Switch to the latest version of Gmail on your iPhone. I have already downloaded it on my phone (The messgage shows up there also) and I can hit "Not Interested" and it goes away.. But then the next time I open my GMail, it appears again... So annoying!

This doesn't sound right. Are you sure it's not a scam / malware problem?
