From which country have I received an email?

Briefly, I suspect I might be involved in a scamming operation. Before making a Police report, I would like to know if I can establish the following, without being in conflict with the law;

Is there a way to determine from which country/city I am receiving a hotmail email? I am receiving emails from Paris, France, according to the person I am in email contact with. I have serious doubts that this is true and would like to confirm the origin of these emails (Country AND city location if possible) before starting an official investigation ... I MIGHT be wrong !! :innocent:

Thank you for your help and suggestions.

Hello,

Yes, if you copy/paste the full headers we can help you figure out where the email came from.

Thank you Theresa and Popowich ... your replies are appreciated. I am pasting full headers and an initial reply and search results of the data contained in the headers, but as you can see the message came from Hotmail which has a physical location (in the US I guess). But that doesn't give any information about where the actual sender is located/situated. Here is the body of the headers and initial searches;

Any further help would really be wonderful, and thank you again. Perhaps somebody can analyze this for me and provide a positive feedback with a country name and a city if possible.

Warm regards.
Mosfetti.
