When I send an email to a charter.net address it is forwarded on to another address and also sent back my address. Where does the problem lie and how do I fix it? Thank you

Hello,

There are a couple of possibilities including a rule in your email program that could be duplicating the email. If you post the full email headers of the copy that you receive we can help you figure out where to look to solve the problem.

Hello,

The email was not forwarded back to you.

The above is an error message letting you know that j-riches@msn.com not a valid email address.

It appears that the email address you are trying to email at Charter is configured to forward to an MSN email account.

One solution is to try calling the contact if you know their phone number and ask them for their current email address.

I have contacted the recipient at charter.net whom the email was sent too. I have also contacted the recipient to whom it was forwarded too(AOL). Charter.net recipient was not aware that the email was forwarded to recipients at aol and msn addresses. It was sent specifically to charter.net. Does that shed some light on what is happening.
