email conversation spam

Hi,
Is there a possibility that Hotmail account will generate normal email conversation? I have conversation from my Hotmail account with friend of mine and his Hotmail address without me knowing it? Need to figure out if it was a spam or somebody used my account.
Could it be some spam or somebody hacked my account?

Check your sent folder and even better check the full email headers on the email they received. Did it really come from the Microsoft servers?

yes, my email address is identical to one used in email conversation. Email is also in Sent folder.

If it's in your sent folder too then it really did come from your account.

Are you talking about a regular email or a skype conversation that was saved to your email?

Either way, if it wasn't you, I'd immediately report and change your password and turn on 2 step authentication.

I found that email conversation by coinsidence. I was puzzeled it was there - ( exchange of cca 10 emails with consistent conversation) as I dont remmember writting it... maybe somebody elase used my profile.
