Email content not visible

My sister has AOL, which was downloaded rather than installed with a disc. I have Juno. As of several days ago, when I send her an email, the content is not visible unless she clicks reply. This doesn't happen when I send emails to anyone else who has AOL. She can read emails from other people who have Juno. I have since discovered that if I use the plain text setting or bold type in the rich text setting, the content is visible. Neither one of us has made any changes to our email settings. What might cause this problem? Any suggestions on how to fix the problem.
