I recently had a PC hardware failure but not HDD which is completely fine. On my new PC all messages from the old Windows Live email system have been imported but need help in importing the contacts list from the old HDD. The contacts list is long and would be impossible to regenerate. I believe that I have found the relevant "contacts.edb" file on the old HDD but copying it to the the correct "DBstore" folder on the new PC does not work, I assume as it is not matching some other relevant file. Please can anyone help with a procedure that works?
