Connection to outgoing server fails - socket error 10060

In some settings (e.g., WiFi in public libraries) I cannot send out email: "connection to server failed," "socket error 10060" Is there another port I should use (rather than Port 25)? Any help appreciated.

Hi Alice,

Yes, most ISP's will allow port 587 so you can still send when port 25 is blocked.
