I want to use Thunderbird as my email address. I have Windows XP home version 2002 - 5.1 - SP3 32-bit. Which version of Thunderbird do I need to download? The Old or one of the others? Thanks.

Hi Kath,

Use this link to Download Thunderbird. Check for newer versions in the top right of that page.

Mozilla Thunderbird is an email program, it's not an email address, but can be used to send/receive as most email addresses that you have.

Thank you. I did understand (sort of) that Thunderbird is a client. My main object is to get rid of Outlook Express which is now outdated. I have followed your instructions and have downloaded Thunderbird and am trying to get up courage to make the switch, but am not very sure of myself.

Have very recently changed from Int. Exp. to Mozilla Firefox and am delighted with the programme.
