can't sign in to Outlook

In 2014, I had Outlook installed on my PC. I am now visiting in another state, using my friends PC to retrieve messages. I can't remember my new password since I have been getting into my account automatically. I tried to follow the solutions suggested but my phone number is a landline and cannot receive texts. How is this problem solved?
