can't send e-mail

I have windows 7 and live mail. It was working fine until I tried to use my wireless router at a friends house.I can log onto the internet,open web pages, get e-mail but I can not send e-mail from live mail. I can still recieve and send e-mail from my account in cfl.rr.com (central florida/ road runner).What went wrong? I get the message-server error 530,smtp-server.cfl.rr.com,authentication is required before sending,( rd107005 )

Hi Debbie,

Do both you and your friend have the same ISP at home?

If your friend does not have Time Warner Road Runner service you should use their ISP's smtp servers for sending email.

If you let us know what ISP your friend has we can help you find the correct settings.

You may also be able to find the setting by checking a mail program on their computer.
