Can't login onto my main account! help??

A while back my main yahoo account was hacked and sending out a bunch of spam emails to everyone. I finally got it under control and changed my password. I tried changing my password by having it send a code to my phone; but when I try to change it, no matter what, it always says that my password isn't strong enough! I really want this fixed! PLEASE HELP!!!!
