cannot open yahoo mail account on my android. getting message server requested closed the connection before the transaction was completed

Did you try that Yahoo Mail app for Android? Yahoo Mail - Android Apps on Google Play

If yes, maybe sure it's up to date, and if that's not the problem, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app to fix problems with the current version.

Also, sometimes power cycling a smart phone can help fix problems with the Yahoo Mail app.
