can we fetch the emails from pop3/imap based on Date?

Is it possible to fetch the emails from pop3/imap servers based on date instead of getting the total emails.

Hello,

I do not believe it is possible to download pop3 emails based on the date.

You can get the latest X number of emails. You can track the id's and get new emails.

It may be possible to program that for use with IMAP. Download all headers -> Download full emails for dates within the date range?
