all e-mails vanishing - how to retreive ?

I selected to delete one e-mail after which all of my e-mails were deleted, nor were they found in the deleted file.

Anyone know what has happened and more importantly if they can be retrieved ?

Hello,

Which email provider or email program are you using?

If they are not in your trash or junk mail folders they are most likely permanently deleted.

Hotmail.

When e-mails are deleted from the inbox, I find them in my deleted file. However this time they are deleted from there as well. Can you offer an explanation please ? Is it a virus ? Thank you.
