1 Typo in email address results in constant error messages

New Email
I added one extra character to a email address - Live Mail 'caught' the error - email wasn't sent but it repeatedly keeps trying - and repeatedly tells me there a problem. I can't 'find'/see the email anywhere so i can't delete it - so every time i open email I get the same error message.
Here's what the error message window says:

The message could not be sent. The setting for your outgoing email [SMTP] server might need to be configured. To find the server settings for '<redacted address>@verizon.net', please contact your email service provider.

Subject 'Deb - open asap'

Server: 'outgoing.verizon.net'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC79
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 25
Secure(SSL): No

Using Windows 7 (I swear this is my last time going pc/Windows)

Thanks for the quick response,
As with most things (for those wise enough to PATIENTLY examine...) the answer was simple. Unknown to me (due to multiple email accounts stacked in side bar) at the bottom of the stack I stumbled upon of all things - an 'Outbox' - and the offending email. Took a second to delete - problem solved.

I appreciate your responding - sorry to waste your time.

Dagnabit:thanks:
