Yahoo Mail - repeated PW reset requests

Hello. I hope someone can help with the following I have been using Yahoo Mail with Chrome installed on a Windows 7 desktop PC for many years. Very occasionally in this period I have changed passwords. Just recently Yahoo Mail looks like it has introduced 2FA login by default, no doubt to the...

    Pop-up Ads abuse - blocking

I found that I had already got Gmail installed on my mobile so I activated that - and was able in the end to access my Yahoo emails apparently without the pop-ups. I thought I would try the same trick with Samsung Mail - but failed.

    Pop-up Ads abuse - blocking

Should it make any difference if I download it from PlayStore or I suppose one can get it direct from MS?

    Pop-up Ads abuse - blocking

I looked up Microsoft Outlook in PlayStore. The description states "Contains Ads". May be not to the extent that I'm experiencing from Yahoo Mail. Mixed reviews. Having had my fingers burned I'd prefer an app that was ad free (if this exists??)

    Pop-up Ads abuse - blocking

Interesting, I suppose because it is in Yahoo's interests for these ads to appear. Does that mean that literally none of the (mobile) ad blockers will work??? I am surprised that there have not been a deluge of complaints up to now. On some links there are literally more ads than text (which is...

    Pop-up Ads abuse - blocking

I use Yahoo Mail the free version. I can accept a limited amount of ads for example banner ads in my mailbox headings as part of the service. But I find that my Android mobile gets swamped with continual repeated pop-up ads throughout the messages in both the Inbox and Sent messages folders, and...

    Contacts deleted

This applies to my Yahoo Mail account. I see that I am not the only user to have experienced this recently. The drop down box in the contacts column does not appear so I cannot simply click on "restore contacts"

    Contacts deleted

My email seems to be working normally but it looks like all my contacts have been deleted. I have signed out, cleared the cache and signed in again but without success. Can I "recover" them"?
