Yes I know to click on the 'x' to get rid of the old contacts (which is very annoying to have to do!) but why isn't Yahoo Mail pulling from my contact list?!

All my Yahoo contacts have current, updated email addresses. Why isn't Yahoo Mail pulling from them, as it has in the past?! It's pulling the old addresses but not the current ones ! ? This is when I'm typing an email and typing the contact name.....
