Panic over... I found a button at the bottom of the reply that shows the original message added text which I can trim down. Not quite the same as POP that allows me to highlite the original text before clicking reply, but it works. Apologies for being a nuisance. Roboc :thanks:

Unable to find a specific forum or an answer to this query, can anyone point me please? I use virgin media imap, however, when I reply everything gets appended and I am unable to trim. Is this possible in virgin media imap? No problem in POP. Thank you Roboc
