Thanks for advice. I finally found the symbol at the bottom right when I scrolled down. Have refound hotmail by opening it on another computer, then deleting the cookies on mine. All is well and I can go to outlook when I have upgraded my computer as advised.

Thanks but I can't find the options symbol and therefore the settings in outlook. Also there doesn't seem to be a contacts list any more.

Can I return to Hotmail when I was "upgraded" to Outlook without my permission? If so, how?
