I just want to search for old E mails by name or subject, I used to be able to do thst but for weeks now it has not worked and hotmail says there is a problem and am using Chrome

I have tried to search on Hotmail for over a week and they just say they are having a problem check back in few minutes but this has been almost 2 weeks so what can I do?? Thanks
