Our Verizon IP address on Spamhaus PBL list?

This is the situation: My company is an electrical contractor and late last week all of our estimates that we were sending to customers who have a gmail account or whose domain is hosting by gmail / gsuite are being classified as spam and being sent to the spam folder. If our customers look at the email in spam there's a message in a red banner "This message seems dangerous Many people marked similar messages as phishing scams, so this might contain unsafe content. Avoid clicking links, downloading attachments, or replying with personal information."

Out setup is as follows: We have an office where we have Verizon FIOS business service, we have a website hosting by Siteground and our domain mail is also hosted by Siteground. I had Siteground look into this problems and one of the issues is that the IP address assigned to our office is on a Spamhaus Policy Block List which is explained as "It is the policy of Verizon Online that unauthenticated email sent from this IP address should be sent out only via the designated outbound mail server allocated to Verizon Online customers. To find the hostname of the correct mail server to use, customers should consult the original signup documentation or contact Verizon Online Technical Support". Needless to say that we are paying for business class service and we are making legitimate business use of our internet. There seems to be no way to contact Spamhaus about this problem.

I've also been in contact with Verizon and I'm having a hard time getting in touch with someone that can actually help. Does anyone have any idea's on how I can fix this problem?

Hi Chris,

I started a private conversation with you. Please reply there with your Verizon IP address if you don't want it posted publicly. Thanks!

New Email
I'm having a similar problem with being placed on a Spamhaus PBL, and getting the same message about Verizon. I called Verizon and they changed my IP address, but the new IP address is also listed on the PBL. I did not think the person at Verizon really understood the problem. I am not super knowledgeable myself, so I'm not sure exactly what is going on or what technical language I need to use. I would appreciate some help.

It's not expected to be able to send email directly from residential IP space.

If you have a business connection you'll need to escalate with Verizon to get the problem corrected.
