Would protonmail ever block it's users?

Based on what I've read so far I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to my own question, no, it would never block its users. But having been burned by hotmail and gmail with blocks I never got around I want to be absolutely sure.

Does protonmail ever decide activity is "suspicious" and block your email access despite you using the right user/password?

I've had a frustrating experience, one which will result in my changing from ProtonMail when my account expires. They do decide activity is suspicious and block accounts. In my case, I was trying to update an internet based directory (a very credible non-profit IT organisation) and had a high number of non-active email addresses (roughly 80% of the emails sent - we're talking a few hundred emails in all). Individual emails to individual email addresses. PM unilaterally seized my account for 48 hr so I couldn't send. When I queried I was told I was spamming. I wont go into the nine emails later (it borders on farce) and getting no-where story; suffice to say despite my explanation - well - I got no-where. I wont be going back and I wont be recommending them.
