I been using TB IMAP w/my gmail account for at least 5 years. When it opens it asks for my gmail pswd. I enter it and all is fine. That was with XP. Then two years ago i switched to win7 and again all was fine. Then after 1.5 years, TB started asking for my gmail pswd twice. I checked all the settings. Everything looked fine. When I use the gmail web interface, I only need to enter it once. Well, there were a few other issues with win7 after 1.5 years, so I wiped my HD and reinstalled everything. Normally I did that about once a year with xp. Well, when I reinstalled everything TB still asks for my gmail pswd twice. WTF?
When the pswd box appears, i enter pswd and the box disappears and right below it is another pswd box, that does not have focus, so i need to select it, then enter my pswd again, then all is fine.
When the pswd box 1st appears, it does not have a separate button on the taskbar, but if I do nothing and just leave it there, after a few minutes the 2nd pswd box appears on top of the 1st and the 2nd one has focus. Then there are two buttons for them in the taskbar. At this point, if I enter my pswd into the second (on top focus box), then click ok, then the other box below it has focus, then I enter my pswd again and all is fine.
